Painted en plein air at Batiquitos Lagoon in San Diego County. Batiquitos is one of many tidewater lagoons designated as wildlife preserves along the Southern California coast. It is very peaceful and serene there, especially in the quiet overcast of the early morning, when the filtered light plays on the surface of the water and an occasional ray peeks through.
Currently on display at Solana Beach Library.
Comes in a museum quality, solid wood frame, selected by RLO.
