Pua Akala (Pink Hibiscus)

This painting captures the delicate pink petals of a giant “Pua Akala” against a backdrop of Blue Hawaii.

The delicate petals of the hibiscus flower can be made into a tea that when sweetened has a tangy, punch-like flavor–and is a very good source of vitamin C.  You can’t make tea with this painting but it will add marvelous, tangy color to your decor.
