Painted en plein air at the sandstone bluffs, known as Sunset Cliffs on the Western side of the Point Loma peninsula, which protects San Diego Harbor to the East. The rugged Winter surf is spectacular and awe inspiring there and creates a great backdrop to capture with brush and paint. The early morning light there on this blustery, Winter’s day was magical.
