Painted en plein air at D.T. Fleming State Beach in Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii, USA. The trade winds blew fiercly as I painting this piece. I had to work fast as a small rain squall was approaching. I finished without mishaps and felt blessed with the privilege to capture the essence of this moment in time (December 2014).
