Painted en plein air at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point Loma, California. As I began this painting, the bugle call to attention was heard from the submarine base below, then a rousing rendition of The Star Spangled Banner ensued.
Comes framed in a wide, dark, solid wood frame with gilded accents.
