Painted en plein air at Batiquitos Lagoon in San Diego County. Batiquitos is one of many tidewater lagoons designated as wildlife preserves along the Southern California coast. It is very peaceful and serene there, especially in the quiet early morning. On this day I painted with the San Diego Plein Air meetup group.
