King Tides at Cabrillo, Original Oil Painting
Original plein air painting by San Diego Artist, Ronald Lee Oliver.
Painted en plein air at the cliffs above the Cabrillo tide pools at Cabrillo National Monument–a wildlife preserve at the end of the Point Loma peninsula, which protects San Diego Harbor to the East. There is plentiful wildlife that makes the monument their home, including peregrine falcons, but the main feature is the rugged coastline with the kelp beds and tide pools to the West. The early morning light there on this blustery, Winter’s day was magical.
Comes in a museum quality, solid wood frame, selected by RLO.
